121 Furniture Group (Covid-19) Statement
In response to the latest measures put in place by the UK government on Monday 23 March 2020, we want to assure you that although our 121 Furniture Group are now all working remotely to ensure we are taking every measure to put the safety of them and their families first, our full customer service is operating as normal.
Our suppliers have implemented strict Social distancing measures within the warehousing and order picking.
Please note that all orders will be delivered to the front door only. On arrival the Delivery team will knock the door or ring the customer to alert them they have arrived and with notification that the goods will be left at the door, photographs will be taken of the delivery and the driver will sign paperwork as poof of delivery.
Any customers that are not comfortable with a “to the front door delivery” we will look to rearrange delivery at a more convenient time.
We're monitoring the situation closely and will continue to follow official advice from the government, the WHO and the NHS, and we are prepared to continue to take the necessary actions to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and the wider community. All prices include free delivery within the UK mainland excluding the Highlands and all UK Islands, unless stated otherwise. For these areas please contact 121 Home Furniture for a delivery quotation. Prices that are quoted on our site, are correct, however if an error has been made we will contact you to advise you off the amended price, to allow you the option to continue or cancel the order.
To assist you with your purchase on any Shankar product 121 can arrange for a swatch of material to be sent to you prior to any purchase to allow you to make a fully informed decision. This facility is available because on most PC screens colours will show different shades and may not be an exact match to the product. We therefor feel it is prudent to offer this facility to avoid any disappointment. If you are looking for a swatch then please email us on sales'121homefurniture.co.uk with details of what you require and your full postal address and we will arrange this to be sent out to you.
Please also note that colouration of products can vary from computer monitor screen etc and therefor the graphics shown cannot be taken as an exact representation of how the product may look.
We strive as a company to give the best possible customer service. With this in mind we offer Free delivery(if not returned) on the majority of our on-line products, to the mainland UK, excluding the Highlands and Islands and these postcodes:- AB, BT, DD, FK, HS1-9, IV, KW, KY, PA20-80, PH, ZE. There may be a surplus charge for delivery to these areas, therefore contact us for a quote before you place your order at email@example.com.
Generally the delivery of our home furniture products can take up to 10 working days. Some product lines due to volume sales or the mere size of the ordered goods may stretch this window. All delivery quotations are estimates and 121 Home Furniture cannot be held liable for any variance to those stated.
If products have to be placed on special order the lead time stretch and you would be advised of this in due course.
All deliveries are made to ground floor level of the delivery address. 2 man deliveries will be delivered to a required room. Please contact us if you require special delivery requirements other than this. Delivery is deemed having been completed when a consignment note has been signed by an individual who is 18 or over.
Delivery times are merely indicative and are non-binding. 121 Home Furniture cannot be held liable for any losses incurred by the purchaser, due to late delivery of the order or part thereof. The purchaser is responsible for the supply of all relevant information to facilitate the quoted delivery time eg any access issues, fully correct postal address etc.
Most home furnishing deliveries are delivered flat packed to keep costs low, however they are easily constructed.
Delivery Agents - Our third party agents/couriers are employed to deliver on pre arranged delivery dates however 121 cannot be held liable for any unforeseen circumstances where the courier is delayed or on fact a delivery has to be cancelled. Off course this happens very rarely and we do employ the leading couriers to assist us in our distribution but sometimes there can be unforeseen circumstances as we are sure you will understand. If we are made aware of any issues rest assured we would contact you immediately to rearrange the delivery.
If a delivery fails with no one in the courier may try and leave it with a neighbour or leave a card for your contact. They will try again to deliver however please note failed deliveries after 3 attempts are then returned to the warehouse with a charge applied to them.
Please note all products should be checked within 48 hours of delivery to check there has been no transit damage or any missing parts to the product. We would advise the best time to do this is when the courier is present and call us if there are any issues. If you don't make that call then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org within the 48 hours with photos of the damage, to allow us to make a claim against the courier where we will then be in a position to supply replacement items or parts. Failure to do this means there can be no insurance claim made. If you intend to put your items in storage for use at a later point we ask you open them to review them within the 48 hours. These issues are extremely rare however we are guiding you hear for your own ease and to avoid any issues after the insurance point. Damage requests reported at a later point may be refused.
RECEIPT OF PURCHASE
A VAT receipt is available for any purchase. Please email or call us with the request and we will forward this to you asap.
COMPANY REGISTRATION AND PRODUCT OWNERSHIP
121 Home Furniture is a trading subsidiary of 121 Office Furniture Ltd. The companys full registered name is 121 Office Furniture Ltd. It is registered at companies house in Edinburgh. The registered address is 5 Mid Road, Blairlinn Industrial Estate, Cumbernauld, G67 2TT. The companies registered number is SC422689.
The ownership of the goods remains with 121 Office Furniture Ltd until full payment is received and delivery has been completed and signed for.
If you need to make a return to 121 Home Furniture please email us on email@example.com and we will be happy to assist you with this process.
If your product has unfortunately been damaged could you please INCLUDE PHOTOS to show the issues and we will in the first instance look to resolve the issue by issuing replacement parts.
If your not completely satisfied with any of your purchased items 121 Home will be happy to refund or exchange your product as long as they are returned in the original packaging and are in an unused/unbuilt and resalable condition within 14 days of purchase or receipt of purchase. If a return is requested we would require this notification within 48 hours of you receiving the goods in writing via email to 121 Home Furniture.
121 Home Furniture will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back minus any carriage costs. Carriage costs will be the responsibility of the customer, unless the goods are faulty or defective.
The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty.
All product lines are supplied with a minimum 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Details can be requested from 121 Home Furniture.
